Cards in essentially any language — the AI is built on advanced AI models that read the world’s major languages and scripts. It is specially tuned for the hardest cases: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean, including bilingual and mixed-script cards. The app interface is available in English, 繁體中文 and 简体中文.

Accuracy is high on clearly printed cards, including CJK ones — the AI is built on advanced AI models. Unusual layouts, heavy design treatments, handwriting and damaged cards are harder, which is why the original photo stays attached to every contact: the extracted fields sit right beside the card image, so anything you want to double-check takes a second to verify, and every field is editable.

Yes. Lay multiple cards in one photo and each is detected, cropped, perspective-corrected and saved as a separate contact. Front and back of the same card are merged into one contact automatically.

Yes. Flag a contact for follow-up and the AI drafts a short, professional email in the contact’s own language — with appropriate etiquette, such as Japanese honorifics — which you can edit and send from your own mail app.

Yes. When you scan a card that matches someone already in your archive — by email address, or by name and company — it is flagged during the scan, and you can merge the two into one clean contact or keep both. Because it happens at scan time, duplicates are caught before they pile up.

That is an Excel decoding problem rather than a problem with your data. On Windows, double-clicking a .csv makes Excel read the file with the system code page instead of UTF-8, which garbles CJK names. BizCardPro.AI writes a UTF-8 byte-order mark at the start of its spreadsheet exports precisely so Excel opens them correctly. For a file from any other source, import it with Data → From Text/CSV and set the encoding to UTF-8.

Your contacts and card images are stored securely with established cloud infrastructure providers under your account, and synced across your devices. Access is scoped to your account, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

Card images are processed by a third-party AI provider solely to extract the contact details, under that provider’s data-use terms. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is stored and for how long.

Yes. You can delete cards individually at any time, and request full account deletion — which removes your contacts, images and profile from our systems.

A business card contains personal data, so scanning one is processing under the GDPR — but ordinary B2B follow-up is generally accepted as lawful under the legitimate-interests basis in Article 6(1)(f). An important detail: you, not the app, are the data controller for the contacts you scan, because you decide why they are kept. What makes it compliant is the surrounding practice — telling people where you got their details, keeping cards no longer than you need them, and honouring erasure and marketing objections.
