How does the AI extraction work?
Photograph a card and AI extraction built on Google’s Gemini models returns a fully structured contact — not a blob of text. Every card gets a confidence score, so you know which ones to double-check and which to trust.
- Names split correctly into family and given name, even surname-first CJK names and compound surnames like 歐陽 or 司馬
- Phone numbers normalized to international E.164 format and classified as mobile, work, fax or main
- Addresses parsed into country, postal code, region, city and street
- A 0–100% confidence score on every card, with filters for cards that need review
Can it really read Japanese and Chinese cards?
Yes — and cards in essentially any other language too, since the AI is built on Google’s Gemini models. CJK is the speciality that proves the engine: the AI transcribes the native script exactly as printed and adds a romanized version beside it, so you can verify at a glance and search either way.
